IRMS Chair presiding over a brand new GDPR Conference
Establishing a cross-sector response to cyber security, data protection and securing critical national infrastructure, the industry-leading Cyber Security Summit and Expo 2017 features a GDPR conference, chaired by Scott Sammons.
The IRMS is an official supporter of the Cyber Security Summit and Expo, the only event in the UK focusing on a joined-up national response to cyber threats across government, public- and private-sector organisations.
Now in its 8th year, the packed programme includes the main Cyber Security Summit plus - new for 2017 - 3 Expo theatres featuring seminars on cyber preparedness, a GDPR conference with speakers from the ICO, DAMA, Henley Business School and various commercial organisations, and a HackChat putting senior leaders in the hot seat to provide their insights.
The summit brings together 450+ senior business leaders, government policymakers and cyber security experts from law enforcement and defence to examine how to establish a national response to risk reduction, system resilience and business continuity strategy.
The brand new Expo and GDPR Conference is set to attract a further 2000 cyber security, information management and data protection leaders to examine best practice for cyber preparedness and implementing new data protection rules, through specialist seminars and discussions with expert solution providers in the interactive exhibition (where the IRMS will also have a presence).
